The Valle family have been in the Catering industry since 1968 when Carlo and his brother Gianni opened a restaurant in Evesham. In 1979 through a chance meeting with a local businessman involved in the then new “Fast Food Industry” The concept of Burger Park was born.
The building and old stable house that had been converted to a garage began its renovation process and opened its doors for the first time in September 1980.
The takeaway was an immediate success with its American themed Fast Food Takeaway attracting customers from as far afield as Oxford and Birmingham. Burger Park quickly expanded to more than 10 units throughout the midlands.
In the late 80s Burger Park was sold but the original property in Park Street was retained. Mister V was born with the Valle family at its core. The premises were refitted and modernised and the menu was expanded to reflect current market trend. Value boxes, Big V burgers, and Chip Batch became favourites with regulars and an expansion into offering a breakfast range meant that Mister V’s could be enjoyed at any time of day.
In January 2014, founders Rino Valle and Aaron Smith returned to Leamington Spa after their university years in Manchester. While there, both gained valuable experience working for a street food company specialising in irresistible burgers and sausages. Inspired by this, the idea of reviving Mister V began to take shape. With careful planning and market research, the vision became reality—and in June 2014, Mister V proudly set up its first stall at Eat Street in Leamington Spa.
The refreshed Mister V stall brought back much-loved classics, updated to suit modern tastes, alongside exciting new creations. Favourites such as the Pork & Chorizo Burger and Lakeland Lamb joined the menu, complemented by locally sourced cheeses, chutneys, and freshly baked breads.
Today, you’ll find Mister V serving at a wide range of venues across the country—continuing the journey that began with one stall and a passion for great street food.
